Intensify App Reviews

Bummer. Cannot open multiple images

It cannot open multiple images at once. For large number of photos, you would need to enhance it ONE BY ONE. Are you serious? Who got that kind of time? Otherwise, it would be an excellent software.

HDR???

All I wanted was to combine photos to make a single HDR photo. Got everything but.

No cropping option and freezes sometimes

This application would be great if there was a crop feature. Also sometimes when you press reset a number of times, the app completely freezes. Would be 5 stars if these issues were fixed.

Amazing tool for the toolbox!

I have been using Intensify for about a year now and I really like it. It takes some time to learn how to use and then learn how to integrate into your own photography and workflow. I use it as a plugin and typically jump into Intensify from Lightroom. This is a really great tool that can add some serious punch to your photos. I am a big fan of macphun and use some of their other stuff as well. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who enjoys photography whether you are a hobby photgrapher or a pro. Very cool program.

More bother than it’s worth

All this application does is freeze up the processor. I have to do a hard shutdown and reboot. Not worth the money.

Time Saver

I take a lot of photos and I find this program saves me time with its excellent assortment of presets. It is intuitive and easy to use. It is an excellent tool to use in conjunction with Apples new, limited Photo program. I highly recommend it for the novice and the experienced photographer.

So much wanted update!

Wow!!! This update is a very good idea. Now I enjoy this great app even more. Love to edit my vacation photos with Intensify ❤️❤️❤️

Unable to load as extensions, standalone product won’t load from photos library

When I try to load this as an extension from Photos it locks up the Photos app. When I load the standalone product I am unable to load a photo from the Photos library. I am considering asking for a refund. I am using OS 10.11.1.

NOT working

Will not open with Photos. Locks up and will not open. Needs a bug fix - QUICK. Especially for the price.

It doesn’t work

I bought this after upgrading to El Capitan. I should have first read the Macphun forum before buying Intensify because it appears everybody has the same problem with it locking up in Photos. The help menu is not even active.

Great products - Comcast level support

I have said it all. It’s lovely that Intensify has been updated for El Cap sadly as the stand alone app crashes instantly after launch there is no way for me to dl the update.. If you go to their website you are subject to multiple pop-ups for the kit or the mailing list or whatever when all you want to do is find the support section, guess what there isn’t one. Support is under ‘Contact Us’ also no way to just straight dl the latest version. As I said, this is Comcast level customer care or less (or careless?). Having said that Intensify is an amazing program that I have become completely addicted to as I am Photoshop lazy, thus my upset as my workflow has been disrupted and I don’t remember how to do anything in PS anymore ;-)

Keeps crashing

The 1.0 app worked more than 50% of the time in Photos, but crashed or gave error messages fairly often in El Capitan. The new 1.1 version crashes all the time - in Photos for when launched stand-alone. It was a great app when it worked. I think the developers must have rushed it out the door without proper testing. I hope they fix it.It shows great promise.

Excellent product, but current version buggy as Photos extension

Frequently fails to load as a Photos extension on El Capitan. Most of the time it will eventually work, but you have to launch it 3-4 times before it does.

Im writing this because Im being forced to.

I feel as if I have a gun to my head here but every time I use this app, Im not allowed to quit the app unless I choose one of two mandatory buttons which happens to be "leave a review" or "contact support". Hitting Command Q does nothing. To get out of this app, Im forced to kill -9 the app. And since I want this to stop, Im forced to leave a review. And this review is very unhappy that Im forced to do something I dont want to do. The authors of this app should be ashamed of their behavior and I cant figure out why Apple allows this to happen. Come on, Apple, send the authors of this app a letter to stop this kind of activity to be put in these apps. Heres your forced review, Macphun. Enjoy it. And to be honest, the review for the app IS a one star. This app does nothing any of your other apps does. Its just given another name and marketed differently. All your apps are exactly the same. Theres no value to it whatsoever.

1.1 Crashes under El Capitan

Guys can you please fix this program…it crashes all the time under El Capitan (Intensify version 1.1.1). Currently can only open maybe 50% of the pictures. I like the app and will rate it higher, but the crashes are making it useless. thx

Crash, Crash, Crash...

Works about 50% of the time if you will keep opening it till it works. GREAT program when it doesn’t crash which is continuous, under El Capitan. Please fix this app… it claims a bug fix for the program has been implemented, but worse now for me than ever!

Glad I took the chance

After reading all the reviews saying how it crashed so much, I was hesitant about buying this. I went for it anyway, and I’m not having any crashing issues at all. (I have a 27” Retina iMac and El Cap.) And Intensify is a lot of fun - I really am enjoyin putting more pop into some of my lackluster photos.

Crashes under El Capitan

This was a decent stand-alone program running under Yosemite, but with El Capitan will not go past the start-up screen. WILL work as Extension to Photos. <<<<HAD TO EDIT THIS REVIEW: OPENED ONCE AS EXTENSION UNDER PHOTOS BUT WILL NOT OPEN AGAIN!>>>>> I will re-rate when new version or fix is released.

Pretty awesome!

easy to use, great quality, couldnt ask for more!

Forced to make to soon

Actually so far it has worked fine but you asked for a review awfully fast to fully mean what I might or might not say about it..
