It’s good great app if you want alot of presets not alot of customizability to it but good. One disadvantage is that the photo’s don’t have good quality when you load them in and terrible when zoomed in for decent quality you will have to zoom out. all in all though it’s a pretty good app I like it. On another note if your looking to do sports edits on this app not worth it just get icolorama on the ipad for 3.50

Bought this because they claimed it worked as a plugin for Apple Photos, it doesn’t. On the forums the tech support have told someone that the fix is not expected til mid-October. I’m not sure why they brought the app out if it didn’t work, cashflow I guess. It has a nice feature set but is extremely cumbersome to use in standalone mode.

Bring out detail in dark areas without washing out the rest of the picture. Easy to use - gives you a lot of control. Get it!!

Like all of the MacPhun products, Intensify is easy to use, but has lots of extra horsepower whenever you are ready for it. This app is particularly good when working with photos taken with a lesser camera, or with lesser quality. It can really bring images to life! I’ve used it a ton in my web design business, when people send me pics that aren’t so great. Darn close to a miracle product!

This is the consumer edition of Macphuns professional tool (The Pro version also works as a Photoshop plugin). The many presets allow you to find the specific look you’re after. Then you can tweek them to get the exact look you’re after. The results are of proffesional quality. And the Macphun website has lots of free tutorials taught by professional photographers. I don’t know of any other Mac photography tool that gives you this much power, at such a low price. Since this tool began it’s life as a specilized plugin, it is not a complete photo editing platform. You’ll want to look at Snapheal if you need to repair damaged photos or remove blemishes. But Intensify is really great at what it does - making bland images look good, and good images look great. This is not a simple “filter” tool.

I made a few edits with the program to a photo. Easy enough to use, but not necessarily much different than Aperature. I exported from Intensify to iPhoto. Once in iPhoto, I pulled the single image back to the album for that event. Once I did, all hidden photos within that album appeared. I was able to undo the merge. But not happy with this outcome.

Brilliantly simple, efficient, and powerful application that is user-friendly and easy to use!

Life-long Windows user. Needed a suitable Photo editor comparable to my favorite Windows program (Zoner Studio Pro). Intensify seems to satifsy the need. Intuitive. Excellent Layer support. Excellent Presets. I have no complaints! QM

Works just fine, easy to learn for people who havent edited much.

I have used other enhancement programs and by comparison I can only rate it a 3 star for the following: 1. Lack of a graphic that shows what each affect has on the image. Fancy names are cute but do not show what each affect does. 2. Lack of a spot healing brush 3. To remove any unwanted objects, you have to buy their companion software,

The Good : Easiest of others available in app store , i tried pixelmator , adobe CS ( trial ) and one other tool cant recall the name .Wasnt too sure on Aperture as they may be discontinued in future . Nice and easy to use Layer feature . The Opacity feature , downsizing if needed at the end is really well thought through. Improvement / Feed back : Would really appreicate if there is an easier way to drag and drop image once the app is opened or say folder structure on sides to pull. On layering option i havent found a way to apply colors directly to a layer, this was something i found on another app. Hope this feature gets added if not already . Naming of the app on the App store isnt consistent to their website where they call a version called Intensify PRO however PRO wasnt found here in App store .

As a teacher of photography and photoshop, it was a pleasure coming across this App. My students loved the simplicity of it. While photoshop takes around 10 weeks to teach, students were able to use this App and produce professional looking images in hours. For people who do not have the time to learn programs like photoshop, this is a wonderful alternative.

This app is so much fun they should charge more money for it. Simple to use, worth every penny.

This is the most fun, intuitive photo editing tools that I have used. From the presets to the manual controls; this app is a gem!

When I started to see photo sharing apps get more and more mature photo filters, I started to wish to add to my arsenal of basic Adobe Photoshop with something that is more “Instagram” easy. This app turned out to be much more once I found my favorite set of presets and got use to applying them in the best order. Its become a standard for a lot of my photos that I intentionally want to show quality art work via various editing techniques. Keep up the good work Macphun. I love the targed interfaces and actual focus it seems you put into each of your suite of targeted photo editing applications. If you give their products a chance, they can really grow on you. Thanks for putting Intensify on sale in the past when I bought it so many months ago. That was all I needed to get started.

Fantastic investment for those who are new to image enhancement and for pros that have a lot of work an not much time! I originally picked this up because Camera Bag 2 would’nt work. BUT!! This program is fantastic! I have a lot of pics to run through all the time and Intensify has taken a lof of headache out of my photo edits! Thank you Thank you!!!

Working okay, but so many presets are useless and definitely overpriced. Many, many more better apps available. Wasting money!

This company, Macphun, provides exceptionally easy to use products at exceptional prices, that do exceptional things. I couldn’t be happier with the abilities Intensify provides to greatly enhance any part of my photos, or to enhance my photos in their entirety using PRESETS that are infinitely adjustable in seconds while split screening before and after views. The presets are sensational. I also own and use the Macphun Snapheal program for repairing/removing portions of photos in seconds with ease. Highly recommend INTENSIFY for $13.95, you can’t go wrong!

At sixty-four, I am a seasoned designer, involved with visual arts, and photography, since college. I’ve used everything computers offer, on both platforms, for photo and graphic arts, since the early nineties. I’ve never liked effects much because they usually overdo it, or fall short of their intended result. I use Adobe Photoshop CC regularly, but rarely ever get what I am looking for with special effects. I use them frequently, but they never seem to take an image to the limit of its improvement, forcing me to do a lot of further time consuming hand work. NOT SO WITH INTENSIFY!! This application delivers. On the first test, I took a mundane ordinary photograph, from a cloudy day, with little or no interest. Going down the list of Default presets, one after another transformed the image into many different completed images, each of which has visible stopping power. This application delivers way more than it promises, because you don’t have to spend time tweaking settings. The presets do it all. But you can also tweak beyond them if you need to. This is best photo enhancing utility I’ve ever used, and I’ve used them all extensively. Macphun developers really understand what makes photographic images the best they can be. THANK YOU!!
